Obituary of Christopher Lee Nunley

 

Christopher Lee Nunley age 54 of Gallatin and formerly of Sewanee passed away at his parent’s, Roger and Janice Nunley’s home in Sewanee, Wednesday, May 21, 2019, after a long battle with colon cancer.

 

 Chris was a truckdriver and worked for Alley Cassetty Trucking, he was an avid boater, sportsman and fisherman.

 

 Survivors in addition to his parents are his children, Brandon and Abi Nunley of Gallatin, TN; grandchildren, Maddox and Ryder; his former wife, Christina Chambers; sister, Jennifer (Stephen) Guenther of Cordova, TN; nephews, Jackson and Jacob Guenther; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

 

  Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at St. James Episcopal Church in Midway with The Reverend Tom Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Eastern Star Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of services at the church. A reception will follow at St. James Episcopal Church after the burial. A memorial service is being planned to be held in Gallatin at a later date.
