Obituary of Jo Ann Phipps

Mrs. Jo Ann Phipps age 70 of Tracy City passed from this life Sunday, April 7, 2019, in Sevierville, TN. She was a daughter of the late Charles J. and Ailene Henley Gipson and was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Scissom; step-mother, Jewell Gipson; sister-in-law, Margaret Ann Gipson.

Jo Ann was a longtime member of Eastern Star and loved gardening and flowers.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Phipps; brothers, Richard Gipson and Dean Gipson; sisters, Rose Mary (J B) Keel and Tammy Condra; several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Monteagle Cemetery. On line condolences may be made at: www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
