Mr. Billy Fred"Show Time" Laxson age 73 of the Providence community near Pelham, Tennessee passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, in Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Alabama. He was a retired ironworker at AEDC, a U.S. Army veteran and was preceded in death by his parents Carl Edd Laxson and Virgie Tucker Laxson; brothers, Jimmy Laxson and Herbie Laxson.
Survived by brother and sister-in-law, Richard Kenneth (Linda) Laxson, Florence, Alabama; sister-in-law, Sandy Laxson, Pelham; nephews, James Kenneth (Marisa) Laxson and Richard Guy Laxson; nieces, Jennifer (Jeremy) Hallmark, Melissa Laxson and Gina (Robert) Jones; and special friend Ruth Duncan, Manchester.
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Warren Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends Monday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
