Obituary of James Myers

 Tracy City, Tennessee – Mr. James Myers, 69, passed away Saturday February 16, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on November 28, 1949.  He was a mechanic, equipment operator and truck driver.

He is survived by his parents, Vance “Tub” and Aileen Meeks Myers; wife, Loretta Kay Wood; sons, Anthony Myers, Ochlocknee, GA, Timothy Myers, Bainbridge, GA and Ricky Myers, Arkansas; brother, Mitchel (Pam) Myers; sisters, Martha (Hizzie) Eldridge, Ruth (Boyd) Johnson and Kathy (Brent) Campbell; step-children, Aaron Wood and Michelle Long; grandchildren, Daniel Lymon, Aryan Dalton, Shyann,  Aryanna, Chasity Ann, Matthew Mckinley, Jordon Taylor, Anthony Micheal (Rebecca) and Allison Morgan Myers, Kayden, Kaylee and Christopher Long; great grandchildren, Brooklyn Isabella and Michah Jayde Myers; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Foster and Lay Chapel with Minister Clayton Jones officiating with burial to follow in the Coalmont Cemetery.  Visitation: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Tuesday at Cumberland Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee.
