Mr. Willie Roy Payne age 61 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, in Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He was a retired coalminer and was preceded in death by his father, James "Doodle" Payne; grandson, Kevin Odear, II.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Payne, Tracy City; sons, Floyd K. (Angie) O'Dear, Troy Nelson (Teresa) Payne both of Tracy City; mother, Bonnie Payne ; brothers, Charlie Payne and Wayne Payne; sisters, Wanda Payne, Diane Griffith, Rose Atterton; grandchildren, Toni Worley, Ashley O'Dear and Derrick O'Dear; great grandchildren, Harley Worley, Hunter O'Dear, Remmington O'Dear, Dylan Worley, Kaylin Messick, Deacon and Draven Messick.
A graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in Plainview Cemetery. The Rev. Ben Curtis will officiate. The family will receive friends 4-9 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee.
