Obituary of Helen Ruth Stiefel

Tracy City- Mrs. Helen Ruth Stiefel passed away Thursday January 3, 2019 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System, Sewanee, Tennessee. She was born April 2, 1928 in Tracy City, Tennessee to the late William Wallace Sanders and Bobbie Hester Gibbs. She is also preceded in death by her husband Ray Stiefel, sister; Shirley Meeks, brothers; Marvin, Melvin, and Wallace Sanders, Jr.

Mrs. Stiefel loved and was loved by her family. She is survived by sons Jerry (Beatrice) Stiefel, Randy (Allison) Stiefel, daughters; Jeanette (Larry) Rhea, Anita (Dennis) Nunley, Debbie (John) Phipps; brother Buford Sanders, sister Nadine Grubbs, good friends Beatrice Kilgore, Lucille Shrum, Jean Bennett, 13 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren,1 step great grandchild, 4 ¾ great great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Service will be held Monday January 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Dennis Rollins and Bobby Winton, burial immediately following at Plainview Cemetery. Vistitation will be Sunday January 6, 2019 from 5:00-9:00 PM at Cumberland Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee.
