Obituary of Freeland Roy Terrill Jr.

Freeland Roy "Coonie" Terrill Jr., age 62, passed away Thursday December 6, 2018, at Southern Tennessee Regional Heathcare-, Sewanee, Tennessee. Born August 17, 1956 to Freeland Roy and Irene Terrill who both precede him in death, along with his father in law Billy Ray Layne.

A loving husband, father, and grandfather, and all around genuinely good person. Coonie was always willing to help anyone he could. He was a football lover at heart, especially the Tennessee Vols. Most of all he cherished his family and friends, and will be missed by many and never forgotten.

He is survived by his wife Denise Terrill, daughter Leah Terrill Jackson and son in law Michael Jackson, son Scott and daughter in law Shellie Coker, grandchildren; Braden Jackson, Camille Jackson, Kobe Coker, Kylie Coker, Savannah Green, great grand daughter Adley Ryan, sister Tana(Jim) Lowrie, mother in law Delores Layne, brother in law Steve Layne, niece Trina Rose, and nephew Ryan Lowrie.

A celebration of life service will be held 3:00PM Sunday December 9, 2018 at Cumberland Funeral Home, Monteagle, Tennessee. Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 PM Sunday. Online condoleneces can be made at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net
