Obituary of Jimmy M. Mince

  Mr. Jimmy M. Mince age 74 of Tracy City passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Hospice of Chattanooga. He was born in Gallatin, TN, a son of the late James Earl Mince and Tippie Louise Wheeler Mince. 

 

  Jimmy had served on the Tracy City council as an alderman, and served on the Grundy County Fair Board. He had worked as a diesel mechanic for several years before going into retail business, he had operated a furniture store, a Sears Store, sold used cars and had sold life insurance. Jimmy’s friends will always remember his sense of humor and laugh.

 

 Survivors include his wife, Mary Guyear Mince; daughter and son-in-law, Leigh and Harold Muir; granddaughters, Brittany (Seth) Taylor and Bethany Dixon.

The Mince family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Foster & Lay Chapel of Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc in Tracy City, Private services and burial will be later.
