Mr. Charles William Dykes, age 84, of Tracy City passed away at his home Sunday evening. He was a son of the late Andy Dykes and Hallie Sanders Dykes and was preceded in death by his son, Elton Dykes; brothers, Clifford, Lonnie and Alf; sisters, Elsie and Edna. Survivors include his wife, Claudene Dykes; sons, Alan Dykes, Robin (Glenda) Dykes; brothers, Benny, Ray and Alvin "Tiny"; grandchildren, Billy, Miranda (Jarrett), Derrick (Ari), Ethan (Christian), and Cody; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Alan Mayes officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-9 P.M.
