Mrs. Ernestine Hamby, age 70, of Pelham, TN., passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015. She was the daughter of the late W. D. and Georgia Mae Nunley Meeks. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Douglas Meeks.
She is survived by her husband Doyle Hamby of Pelham, TN., daughter Sandy Hamby of Pelham, TN., son Kent Hamby of Coalmont, TN., six grandchildren Becky Nunley of Pelham, TN., Tonya (Matthew) Garner of Pelham, TN., Drake Hamby of Franklin, TN., Lyndse Hamby, Kaycee Hamby, and Patrick Meeks, three great grandchildren Taylor Arce, Madeline Hendrix, and Lane Garner, a sister Janice Van Hooiser, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5PM until 7 PM, Friday, October 30, 2015, at Cumberland Funeral Home in Monteagle, TN. A Memorial Service will begin at 7PM, with Brother Ray Winton officiating. Online condolences may be made at: www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
