Obituary of Wilma Short

Maxine Short, age 61, of Coalmont, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2015 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Sewanee, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her two sons, Michael Garry Short and Randy Dewayne "Daffy" Short; parents, Raymond Douglas and Zada Belle Short; sisters, Shirley Edween (John H.) Nunley, Linda Mary Hobbs; brothers, Louie Vernon "Hamp" Hobbs, Damon Turner Hobbs, Alvin (Sue) Hobbs. Survivors include her grandchildren, Tyler Robert Nunley, Gerrick Spencer (Shannon) Nunley; sisters, Juanita Jean Hobbs, Coalmont, TN; Cathie (Jerry) Layne, Monteagle, TN; daughter-in-law, Barbara (Daffy Short) Nunley, Tracy City, TN; nephews, Barry Chester (Ashley) Meeks, Billy Bob Partin, Chrissy Powell, Jason (Laura) Hobbs, Roland Levon Hobbs; nieces, Lisa Gail Nunley, Tina Hobbs; Great nieces, BriAunna Cheyenne Partin, Makayla Nunley, and Shelby Nunley; Great nephews, Colton Meeks, Tyler Hobbs and Kara Hobbs. Funeral services 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 30, 2015 in the Foster & Lay chapel with Brother Claude Hoback officating, burial will follow in the Coalmont Cemetery.
