Obituary of Danny Kilgore

Mr. Danny Ray "Skinny" Kilgore age 63 of Decherd, TN and a former resident of Sequatchie Mountain passed away Tuesday evening at home. He was a retired coalminer and had worked in the lawn care business. He was a son of the late Barney Glenn Kilgore and Clara Elvia Marie Caldwell Kilgore and was preceded in death by his brothers, J.B., Norman and Joe Kilgore. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Kilgore, Decherd; children, Christopher Ray Kilgore, Whitwell, Melody Kilgore, Whitwell, Kimberly Odell Marie "Lazy" Kilgore, Sequatchie, Elisa Dawn (John) Frith, Estill Springs, David Nathan Kilgore, Whitwell, Rachel Miranda Kilgore, Whitwell, Christopher James Randall Caldwell, Decherd, TN; brothers, George, John Ed and Phillip Kilgore all of Sequatchie Mountain; sisters, Mary Jane Gilliam and Wilma Clark both of Sand Mountain, Alabama, Iva Lee Saynes, Whitwell and Carol Rhea, Athens, TN; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend John Westerfield and others officiating. Burial will be in Eastern Star Cemetery in Sewanee.
