Mr. Cecil Norton Frederick age 85 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Tuesday September 23,2014, in Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Sewanee,TN. He was born in Coalmont, a son of the late Isaac Jessie Frederick and Fronia Novella Sanders Frederick, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Pat, Isaac and Austin Frederick; sister, Stella Novella Frederick Orange. Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Frederick; sons, Ronald (Debbie)Frederick of Indiana; Bobby Frederick of Indiana; Robert and Bryan Frederick of Tracy City; daughter Geneva (Justin) Scissom of Monteagle; brothers, Dewey Frederick and Kenner Frederick of Manchester; sister, Carolyn Nunley of Tracy City; 8 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Elder Franklin Hill will officiate. Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 1-9 P.M. at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at www.fosterlayfuneralhome.net.
