Mrs. Violet H. Campbell, age 92, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at The Bridge At Monteagle. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley A. Campbell; parents, Ben Sr. and Meddie (Crick)Hampton; son, Bobby Hampton, Sr.; brothers, Ben Hampton, Jr., Charles Hampton, Jimmy Hampton; sisters, Mozella Parsons, Margaret Priest, Catherine Edger, Edna Mae Fultz, Nellie Hampton, and Pauline Hampton; grandsons, Robert Lee and Johnny Wayne Hampton. Survivors include her sons, Wayne (Rose) Campbell, Charles (Mary) Campbell, and Ronnie (Renee) Campbell; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 17, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Ernest Lockhart officiating Burial will be in the Hobbs Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-9 P.M Funeral arrangements are made by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee (931)592-3691.
